A Short Trip To Philadelphia

July 15, 2017 Philadelphia, PA, USA

As a rising senior in high school, summer is the time of year in which you embark on the journey that is college visits, and cram all of the schools that are in proximity to one another into a four day trip. At least, that's how it was for my family as we traveled throughout Pennsylvania with my sister visiting various colleges.

Of all of the towns and cities that we explored, my favorite by far was Philadelphia. Though I have visited before, I was much younger and I couldn't remember much of the city. Philly is absolutely beautiful, from the gothic architecture contrasted with the massive glass buildings, to the small city streets with cute shops and fun restaurants. Though we only had two days here, my mom and I explored so much of the city and are already planning to return in the very near future.

A Pop Of Color Everywhere

July 12, 2017

In the summertime, color is my best friend both clothing and accessory-wise. Whether I am running errands with my mom, eating out for dinner, or taking a day trip to the city, when my outfit and accessories are colorful I always feel like I am in "a sunny state of mind." That is one of the reasons why I absolutely love my adorable pink and gold bracelets from lolohanaco on Etsy! Along with my obsession with the colors, I love these bracelets because they are perfect for layering.

Happy Birthday America!

July 5, 2017

Happy Fourth of July! This festive holiday in which I spend time with my family and friends eating yummy food, taking pictures, swimming (although not this year due to the thunderstorms), playing with sparklers, and of course, watching fireworks, has always been one of my favorites.

Because I absolutely love dressing up for the Fourth of July, in today's blog post I am going to be sharing with you the outfit that I chose to wear in honor of America's birthday as well as a few other festive photos. Hope you enjoy!

Afternoon Tea at the St. Regis Hotel

July 1, 2017 923 16th And, K St NW, Washington, DC 20006, USA

Tasting small, decadent sweets, sandwiches, and scones while sipping hot tea has always been something my mom and I both enjoy doing together very much, so we decided to schedule afternoon tea at our overnight stay at the St. Regis Hotel. The set up for our tea time was absolutely stunning. We were placed in the beautiful lobby directly adjacent to a window, and were given a long list of options regarding our choice of tea, from black, green, and white teas to oolong, rooibos, and herbal teas. Seeing that I love herbal tea, I chose the Garden of Dreams tea, and my mom chose the St. Regis Signature Blend, a black tea.
